Amy Sue Hill, a beloved soul whose warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, in the comfort of her home in Burlington Wisconsin. Born on September 27, 1975, in Rockford, Amy's life was a testament to the beauty of compassion and the power of love.
Amy was the cherished daughter of Dean and Melody Kubly, who preceded her in death, along with her dear sister, Amanda L. Kubly. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark A. Hill, with whom she shared a profound and loving marriage. They were united in marriage on September 28, 2024, at the Medina Wedding Chapel in Wisconsin, beginning a new chapter filled with joy and companionship.
A woman of remarkable intellect and curiosity, Amy pursued her education with diligence, attending Freeport High School and furthering her studies in Rockford and Southern Illinois. In 2000, she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant credentials in Lena, Illinois, and later achieved her Wisconsin Medication Aide certificates in 2017. Her career was dedicated to the care and well-being of others, as she worked with unwavering dedication at various nursing homes and assisted living facilities across Illinois and Wisconsin.
Amy's passion for life extended beyond her professional endeavors. She found immense joy in capturing the world through her camera lens, photographing nature, old buildings, lighthouses, and people. Among her favorite subjects was the Wind Point Lighthouse in Caledonia, Wisconsin, a place she held close to her heart.
Those who knew Amy will remember her as an outgoing and vivacious spirit, whose love for people and animals was evident in every interaction. Her home was shared with her husband Mark, and their cherished furry children: three cats, Pikachu, Odin, and Susie, as well as her beloved turtle, Matilda. Amy's love for animals knew no bounds, and she delighted in the company of every creature, great and small.
A lifelong learner, Amy was continually expanding her knowledge, reading and educating herself on new topics every day. Her thirst for understanding and her gentle nature made her a beacon of wisdom and kindness in the lives of those around her.
In addition to her husband, Amy's legacy is carried on through her four beautiful grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and joy for her. Along with 4 children Hope August,Madlyn Becker, Joseph Becker, and Caleb Davis.
