It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amy Louise Green, a beloved partner, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on March 2, 2026, at her cherished home. Born on September 10, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Amy was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Amy was the cherished daughter of the late Bonnie Stangel and James (Mike) Green Sr., and she is predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Hazel and Harold Hardy, as well as Helen and Bill Lemke. Her faithful canine companions, Molly, Damien, and Jazmine, who shared many joyful moments by her side, have also passed on.
She is survived by her devoted partner, Bruce Harn, and her loving daughter, Ashley Casper, who carry forward her indomitable spirit. Amy's siblings, Michele (Greg) Larson, James (Kari) Green, Lisa (Nick) Schuman, Heidi (Scott) Wieme, and Josh (Amanda) Stangel, will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Her legacy continues through her five cherished grandchildren and her precious fur babies, Missy, Fiona, and Mr. Kitty.
A dedicated professional, Amy spent her career as a driver for Acc Midwest Transportation, where she touched the lives of her colleagues and passengers alike with her genuine kindness and ever-present smile. Outside of work, she found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Amy could often be found wandering through craft fairs and flea markets, delighting in the creativity and community they offered. Her love for food trucks was well-known, and she never missed an opportunity to savor new culinary delights. She was an avid crocheter, her nimble fingers weaving warmth and comfort for those she loved, and she cherished the adventures of going on cruises, embracing the vastness of the world with open arms.
Amy’s heart was as big as her smile, and her ability to touch the lives of everyone she met was unparalleled. Her compassion and generosity knew no bounds, and she fostered a sense of belonging and warmth wherever she went. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a beacon of light and love, whose presence enriched their lives in countless ways.
The family invites all those whose lives were touched by Amy to join in a Celebration of Life on March 14, 2026, at the Community of Hope Nazarene Church in Brainerd, Minnesota, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM. It will be a time to come together to honor and cherish the remarkable life she lived.
