Amy Louise Green, born on September 10, 1966, in St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 2, 2026. Her departure has left a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Amy was the beloved daughter of the late Bonnie Stangel and James (Mike) Green Sr. She was also predeceased by her cherished grandparents, Hazel and Harold Hardy and Helen and Bill Lemke, as well as her loyal canine companions, Molly, Damond, and Jazmine.
Amy's life was filled with love and laughter, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. She is survived by her devoted partner, Bruce Harn, and her treasured daughter, Ashley Casper. Amy's memory will also be cherished by her siblings, Michele (Greg) Larson, James (Kari) Green, Lisa (Nick) Schuman, Heidi (Scott) Wieme, and Josh (Amanda) Stangel. Her family also included her adored fur babies, Missy, Fiona, and Mr. Kitty, who brought her endless joy.
Amy was a proud grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her love for them was boundless and her time with them, invaluable.
For many years, Amy served as a dedicated driver for Acc Midwest Transportation. Her work ethic and commitment were admired by colleagues and passengers alike. Beyond her professional life, Amy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid attendee of craft fairs and flea markets, where she delighted in the creativity and community spirit. Food trucks were another of her favorite pastimes, a testament to her adventurous palate and love for good company. Amy's creative spirit shone through in her passion for crocheting, crafting beautiful pieces for those she loved. She also cherished the excitement and relaxation of going on cruises, where she created lasting memories.
Amy was known for her big heart and her unwavering ability to touch the lives of everyone she encountered. Her compassion, generosity, and infectious smile were her trademarks, and she left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A Celebration of Life to honor Amy will be held on March 14, 2026, at the Community of Hope Nazarene Church in Brainerd, Minnesota, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Her family invites all who knew her to join in remembering a life beautifully lived and to share stories and memories that highlight Amy's love and kindness.
