Amy Arnell Mebane November 18, 1975 - June 11, 2026 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amy Arnell Mebane, who departed this world on June 11, 2026, at the age of 50. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, on November 18, 1975, Amy left an indelible mark on the community she loved so dearly. Amy was the cherished daughter of Debra Mebane, and she was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents and mother. She is survived by a close-knit family of uncles, aunts, cousins, a special friend, as well as the doctors and caregivers who tenderly cared for her in her final days. A proud graduate of high school, Amy was a dedicated member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church community, where her beautiful smile and vibrant life touched all who crossed her path. Her passion for music found expression in her active involvement with the Gospel Choir. Amy also served as a Senior Usher, offering her warmth and grace to congregants each week. Cooking was one of Amy's greatest joys. She delighted in sharing her culinary creations with others, often sending her favorite recipes to friends and family. Her love of good food and the joy it brought to others was a testament to her generous spirit and nurturing nature. Those who knew Amy will remember her for her unwavering faith, her steadfast devotion to her church, and her commitment to caring for others. As a caregiver and recipe presenter, she brought comfort and joy to many, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love. A service celebrating Amy's life will be held on June 25, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Ebenezer Baptist Church, located at 2700 West Vandalia Street, Greensboro, NC 274. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available at www.ebcnc.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Amy's honor, continuing her legacy of compassion and generosity. Her loving spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Amy's light shone brightly in this world, and while her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.
