Born in the vibrant heart of Mexico on March 23, 1948, Amparo's life was a testament to love, devotion, and the unyielding strength of family. Amparo was the cherished wife of the late Juan Monroy, with whom she shared a beautiful journey of love and companionship. As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Amparo dedicated her life to nurturing her family with unwavering love and care, creating a home filled with laughter, warmth, and the delicious aromas of her lovingly prepared meals. A woman of deep faith, Amparo was an active and treasured member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. Her voice, a gentle and melodic presence in the church choir, uplifted the spirits of all who heard it. Her dedication to her faith and community was evident in her tireless involvement and the countless lives she touched with her generosity and kindness. Amparo found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her garden was her sanctuary, where she lovingly tended to her plants, finding peace and tranquility in the vibrant colors and fragrant blooms. Her skillful hands created countless knitted treasures, each stitch infused with love and care, gifts that warmed not only bodies but hearts as well. Her greatest legacy, however, is the family she leaves behind. Amparo was the proud and loving mother to her cherished children, a doting grandmother to her seven grandchildren, and a delighted great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren. Her home was a haven of laughter and joy, a place where stories were shared, and memories were made, each visit leaving a lasting imprint of her love and humor. Amparo was predeceased by her beloved husband, Juan Monroy, whose memory she carried with her always. She leaves behind a family who will forever hold her in their hearts, carrying forward her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. In keeping with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her life and bid farewell to a woman who meant so much to so many. Though she has departed from this physical world, Amparo's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. The family extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support and love during this difficult time.
