It is with heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Ambers Ray Huff, who departed this world on June 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Ambers peacefully transitioned after spending his final days in the hospital, surrounded by the love of his family, following his admission on Memorial Day. Born on April 11, 1952, in Caneyville, Kentucky, Ambers was the beloved son of Ambers Huff and Verbel Huff. And siblings Marion and Barbara. He was a man of quiet strength; known for his hard work, gentle demeanor, and an unexpectedly sharp sense of humor that brought laughter and light to those around him. Ambers was a devoted husband to his cherished wife, Donna Huff, whose love provided a foundation of unwavering support throughout their lives together. Their journey was enriched by the joy of their children: Jason Huff and his wife Amanda, John Bindner and his wife Katie, Misty Ward and her husband Matt, and Katelyn Carter and her husband Kyle. Each child carries forward Ambers' legacy of love, integrity, and dedication. Though preceded in death by his beloved children Jason,John,Misty,Katelyn. Ambers' spirit lives on in the hearts of his surviving family, including his nephew Danny Payton,his children and his 10 treasured grandchildren: Savannah, Isabella, Michael, Robyn, Kaylee, and many more who affectionately knew him as their guiding star. The family is further blessed with the next generation, his great-grandchildren Amarree and Izaiah, who will continue to hear tales of their great-grandfather's wisdom and warmth. Ambers' life was filled with passions that brought him joy and fulfillment. He was particularly fond of golfing, finding tranquility and camaraderie on the greens. His love for Mustangs wasn't limited to the equine variety but extended to the car that symbolized freedom and adventure, a reflection of Ambers' own spirited nature. His presence was a calming influence, his humor a balm, and his dedication to family unwavering. Ambers’ life was a testament to the enduring values of love, humility, and resilience. His legacy is carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing him, each touched by his kindness and inspired by his unfaltering work ethic. The family invites all who knew Ambers to join in a celebration of his life, where stories will be shared, laughter will be encouraged, and his memory will be cherished.
