Amber Nicole Moore

Amber Nicole Moore, a beloved daughter, sister, and devoted mother, passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 33. Born on February 23, 1993, in Decatur, Alabama, Amber was a beacon of love and laughter for her family and friends. Amber was the cherished daughter of William Moore of Hartselle. She joins her mother, Betty Jean Matheny, and grandmother, Mary Matheny, in eternal peace. Her legacy of love continues through her children, Addison Alexis Jarrett and Eli Alexander Moore, who were the light of her life. Amber also leaves behind her brother, Jeffrey Allen, Jr.; stepbrother, William Daniel Moore; sister, Mary Elizabeth Allen; and stepsisters, Brandy Moore and Amanda Clark, along with Amanda’s husband, Jimmy. Her extended family, the Tomlins—Greg, Angie, Wyatt, and Abbey Grace—held a special place in her heart, as did a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who were blessed to know her. Amber found joy and companionship in sharing her life with Jeff Jarrett of Moulton, with whom she treasured raising their two precious children. Her career at The Pink Pig in Moulton was more than just work to her; it was a place filled with friendships and cherished memories. A true lover of nature, Amber found solace at the beach, where she embraced the simple pleasures of life. Her heart was at home by the ocean, where she delighted in collecting seashells, building sandcastles, and watching the sun set on the horizon. The mountains also called to her spirit, offering moments of reflection and appreciation for the beauty of God’s creation. Above all, Amber’s greatest joy was spending time with Addison and Eli. Whether playing softball with Addi, cuddling with Eli, or enjoying family meals at China Dragon, Amber treasured every moment and created a lifetime of memories with them. Amber was known for her radiant smile and a heart that overflowed with kindness. She had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel cherished and welcomed. With an infectious laugh and zest for life, she touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on all who knew her. A celebration of Amber’s life will be held on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck's Funeral Home, located at 1600 HWY 31 S, Hartselle, AL 35640. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the beautiful life she led and the love she shared with so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Amber’s memory to a charitable organization of your choice, reflecting the compassionate and giving spirit she embodied throughout her life.
