Amanda was born on April 10, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois, to her devoted parents, Jana Files and Walter Waszak. Her journey through life was marked by grace, love, and an unyielding dedication to those she cherished most. Amanda’s life was a testament to the beauty of selflessness and compassion. She possessed a smile that could effortlessly light up any room, a beacon of warmth and positivity that drew everyone to her. Her life’s work was her family, whom she cared for with unwavering dedication and love. Amanda’s strength and levelheadedness were a source of comfort to all who knew her; she was always there, a steadfast presence during both celebrations and challenges. Her capacity for kindness and her instinct to prioritize the happiness of others left an indelible mark on so many lives. Amanda’s passions extended beyond her family, as she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A private funeral service will be held to honor Amanda’s life, allowing her family and close friends to gather in remembrance and gratitude for the time spent with her. The ceremony will take place on August 30, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Amanda’s memory, continuing her legacy of compassion and care for others.
