In Loving Memory of Amanda Leigh Hart January 13, 1998 - July 20, 2026 It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Amanda Leigh Hart, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on July 20, 2026. Amanda's journey began in Rapid City, South Dakota, where she was born on a chilly winter day in 1998 to her adoring parents, Floyd Hart and Corolana McCloskey. Her life, though brief, was filled with immense love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Amanda’s greatest joy and accomplishment in life was being a mother. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children, Tesla Shae Hart and Echo Osiris Hart, who were the light of her life. Tragically, Amanda was expecting her third child, Emilio Hart, who passed alongside her. Her love for her children knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Amanda possessed a radiant spirit that left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Known for her quick wit and forthrightness, she brought laughter and joy to those around her. Her honesty and humor could brighten even the dullest days, and she had a remarkable ability to make ordinary moments extraordinary. Amanda’s loyalty was unparalleled, and her unwavering support for her family was a testament to her generous and loving nature. She was predeceased by her unborn son, Emilio Hart; her maternal grandparents, Natalie “Lois” Rich and Ruben McCloskey; her paternal grandparents, Clarinda Little Crow and Red Hart; her dear aunties and uncles, Corrine “Pearl” McCloskey, Mega McCloskey, Faytina “Marie” Bald Eagle, Lloyd Bald Eagle, Marlene Bald Eagle, and Sylvan “Scooter” Bald Eagle; and her cousins, Jessica Bald Eagle, Starla McCloskey, and Natalie Chasingbear. Amanda leaves behind a rich legacy of love and cherished memories with her surviving family members: her devoted parents, Corolana McCloskey and Floyd Hart; her beloved children, Tesla Shae Hart and Echo Osiris Hart; her siblings, Staven McCloskey and his wife, Shawna McCloskey, Mega McCloskey, Charo Bettelyoun, Lamoine McCloskey, and Cameon Hart. She is also survived by a host of maternal uncles and aunts, Ruben McCloskey, Jim McCloskey, Phillip “Keith” McCloskey, David McCloskey, and Ione “Tiny” McCloskey; paternal aunts and uncles, David Bald Eagle Jr., Phyllis Bald Eagle, Remi Bald Eagle, Kili Bald Eagle, Roberta Bald Eagle, Nita Bald Eagle, Sandra Bald Eagle-Flying Horse, and Florence Bald Eagle; and many nieces and nephews who will forever hold her close in their hearts. A celebration of Amanda’s life will be held on July 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Oyate Center, located at 2430 Gnugnuska Drive. Her family invites all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her memory and the beautiful life she lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Amanda’s memory. Amanda’s life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished family moments. Though her time with us was cut short, the memories she created will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May Amanda and her precious baby, Emilio, find eternal peace together in heaven.
