In Loving Memory

Amanda Jackson
November 30, 1977 — October 11, 2025
In loving memory of Amanda Jackson, who was born on November 30, 1977, in the charming town of Brevard, North Carolina, and passed away on October 11, 2025. Amanda was a beacon of kindness and joy, whose warmth and humor touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Amanda was blessed with a vibrant spirit that radiated through her love for the outdoors and her delight in painting and decorating. She found beauty in the flutter of butterflies and cherished each moment spent in nature. Her adventurous soul and free spirit were matched only by her sharp wit and joyous laughter, often being the one to light up a room with her jokes and infectious smile.
Amanda was the beloved daughter of Irene Hughey and Jerry Morgan, and the cherished stepdaughter of David Hughey. She was predeceased by her parents, Irene and Jerry, her stepfather David, and her brothers, Lamar and Tommy Green. Joining them in eternal peace are her great-grandparents, Gertrude and William Morgan.
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children, Allyana Morgan, Deana Jackson, and Elijah Jackson, who were the light of her life. As a devoted grandmother, she adored her grandchildren, Ocean and Island, with whom she shared countless joyful moments and treasured memories.
Amanda’s heart was as vast as her generosity, always ready to lend a helping hand and embrace those in need with open arms. Her love for her family was boundless, and her presence in their lives was a gift that will forever be cherished.
Amanda will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the laughter of her children and grandchildren, in the stories shared by friends, and in the beauty of the world she so dearly loved.
