Born on April 14, 1978, in American Fork, Utah, Amanda was the cherished daughter of Kim Barnhart, Judy Lynne Zobell, and John Wengreen.
Amanda was a beacon of light to those who knew her, her kind spirit and warm heart touching everyone she encountered. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Judy Lynne Benadict, whose memory she held dear throughout her life.
Amanda's life was enriched by her loving family, who were her pride and joy. She is survived by her devoted children: Jordan Penrod, Jonny Penrod, and Daniel Downer Jr., each of whom carries forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Her siblings, Angela Faye Akers, Skyler Britto, and Shane Wengreen, remember her as a sister of unparalleled warmth and understanding.
A dedicated and loving grandmother, Amanda was blessed with three grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her joy knew no bounds as she watched them grow, imparting wisdom and love that will guide them for years to come.
Throughout her life, Amanda cherished the companionship of her partners, Nate Penrod and Dan Downer Sr., who shared in the joys and challenges of life with her.
Amanda's heart was large and her compassion boundless, as evidenced by her work with The Inn Between, where she found meaning and purpose. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to the many people who worked and lived there, enriching Amanda's life with friendship and shared purpose.

A service to celebrate Amanda's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to remember her for the vibrant, loving soul she was.
