It is with profound sadness yet deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived that we announce the passing of Amanda Carey, who departed from this world unexpectedly on August 1, 2025, on her 37th birthday. Born in the serene town of Augusta, Wisconsin, in 1988, Amanda graced this world with her radiant spirit and left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Amanda was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Kimberly Carey, who survive her, forever holding her in their hearts. Her life was filled with love and laughter, shared with her cherished children, Theodore and Piper Bachman, who were the light of her life. Amanda was a devoted sister, leaving behind her brothers Derrick Carey, Shane Carey with his wife Heidi, and Daniel Carey with his wife Megan. She was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a friend to many, whose lives she enriched with her warmth and kindness. A bright student, Amanda graduated from Augusta High School in 2006 and pursued higher education at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, where she received her Bachelor's Degree. Her passion for serving others led her to further her education at the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science. Her career as a Funeral Director at Wulff Funeral Home was more than a job; it was her calling. Amanda had a unique gift for comforting those in their darkest times, using her compassionate nature and professional expertise to provide solace and dignity. Amanda's life was a vibrant tapestry of interests and passions. A lover of metal music, she found joy in the powerful rhythms and community it offered. She was happiest when riding her motorcycle, feeling the freedom of the open road. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel with her girlfriends, creating memories filled with laughter and discovery. Above all, Amanda treasured every moment spent with her children, who were her greatest joy. Those who knew Amanda will remember her for her happy demeanor, quick-witted humor, and the incredible ability to make friends with anyone she met. Her smile and laughter were infectious, and she had a way of making everyone feel valued and heard. Amanda is predeceased by her grandfather, James Fischer, her grandmother, Constance Bolman, and her Uncle Mark Carey, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms. A service celebrating Amanda's life will be held on May 18, 2026, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, located at 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury, MN 55125. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to gather in remembrance of Amanda's remarkable life and the love she shared with so many. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Amanda's memory to a charity of choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place. Amanda Carey will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the fortune of knowing her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.
