In his leisure time, Alton found peace and joy in the great outdoors. He loved deep-sea fishing off the island of Hawaii and spent many cherished moments fishing for salmon and halibut in Southeast Alaska. An avid hunter in his younger years, Alton also enjoyed developing wetlands and other animal habitats, demonstrating his commitment to preserving the natural world.
