Waterbury, Connecticut – Allyn Campbell, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on March 25, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on June 5, 1951, in the heart of Waterbury, Connecticut, Allyn's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the enduring power of family. Allyn was the cherished daughter of Shirley Lamoine. She was predeceased by her dear brother Charles, whose memory she carried fondly throughout her life. Allyn is survived by her devoted children: Christina, Tina, Patrica, Cynthia, Angela, George, Mark, Andrew, and Marie, all of whom were the true joys of her life. Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her sister Laurie. She also leaves behind her stepbrothers, Harry and Joseph Wrigley, and Terry and Hank Gallion, who all held special places in her heart. Family was the cornerstone of Allyn's world. Her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by loved ones, whether it was at family gatherings or simple, quiet evenings at home. Her warmth and generous spirit made everyone feel welcome and loved. Allyn's dream of moving to Vermont, a place she imagined as a haven of peace and beauty, was a testament to her love for nature and her desire for a serene life. Allyn's life was marked by her remarkable qualities. She possessed an unwavering kindness, a gentle spirit, and an ability to find joy in the everyday moments. Her laughter was infectious, her compassion boundless, and her dedication to family unmatched. She taught those around her the true meaning of love and resilience, always facing life's challenges with grace and courage. A service to celebrate Allyn's life will be held on June 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Waterbury Baptist Church, located at 222 West Main St, Waterbury, CT. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Allyn are invited to join in honoring her memory and celebrating the beautiful life she led. Allyn Campbell's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of love, family, and cherished memories.
