Born on February 24, 1959, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Allison was the daughter of the late Calhoun Waddell and Betty Henry. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clayton and Calhoun Waddell, and her sister, Bertha Wise.
Allison was a proud native of Philadelphia, where she was educated in the city's school system. Her commitment to service was evident early in her life when she joined the United States Army, where she served her country with honor and dedication. Her time in the military instilled in her a sense of discipline and compassion, which she carried into every aspect of her life.
In her journey through life, Allison was blessed to share a deep and abiding love with her husband, William Gray. Together, they built a loving family, raising two wonderful children, Ambrye and William Gray, who were the light of her life. Her life will be celebrated on June 12, 2026, at Terry Funeral Home, located at 4203 Haverford, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m., where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and share in the love she so freely gave.
