December 13, 1940 — July 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allen Roach, a devoted brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on July 12, 2026, after a short illness. Allen was born on December 13, 1940, in the serene town of Camden on Gauley, West Virginia, to Harold and Bessie Roach. From his early years, Allen displayed a zest for life and an insatiable curiosity about the world around him.
Allen served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force, embodying the values of dedication and service throughout his life. His commitment to upholding these principles earned him the respect and admiration of both his peers and family members.
A man of many passions, Allen found joy in the simplicity of nature. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, often sharing tales of his outdoor adventures with those he loved. His enthusiasm for collecting coins and hunting arrowheads revealed his appreciation for history and the stories that every artifact held.
Allen was predeceased by his beloved wife, Peggie Roach, with whom he shared many cherished memories. He is also reunited with his parents, Harold and Bessie Roach, his twin brothers, Harold and Gerald Roach, and his sister, Rita Bolton. Their reunion in the great beyond is a comforting thought to those he leaves behind.
Though Allen did not have children of his own, his surviving siblings—brothers Stephen and Paul Roach, and sisters Nancy Blake and Phyllis Donelson—along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family, will carry on his legacy of kindness, strength, and love. His presence in their lives was a source of unwavering support and joy.
Allen's family invites you to remember him in your own personal ways, as the private funeral ceremony will be held in accordance with his wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Allen's memory, honoring the generous spirit with which he lived his life.
Though Allen Roach may have departed from this world, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity, the value of service, and the enduring power of love and family.
