Allen Lewis

Allen Lewis, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at the age of 52, after a long and courageous battle with chronic health issues. Born on October 3, 1973, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Allen was known for his generous spirit, infectious humor, and unyielding love for his family and friends. Son to Allen Marks and the late Frances P. Lewis, Allen was a cherished member of a large and loving family. He is survived by his children, Jasmine, Shavaris, Kashawn, and Semaj who were his pride and joy. His legacy of love and laughter continues through his precious grandchildren, Zy'Mari, Kamari, Mylo, and Brycelynn, who brought immense joy to his life. Allen was a devoted brother to Theresa Lewis, Raymond Hill, Priscilla Carter, Christopher Lewis and Taiy lesha "Pooh" Marks. He shared a special bond with his siblings, who remember him for his humor and his ability to bring people together with his laughter. Allen also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish the memories of their playful and loving uncle. A faithful fan of the New York Giants, Allen rarely missed a game. His loyalty to the team matched only by his dedication to his loved ones. He also found peace and tranquility in the simple pleasure of fishing, a pastime that offered him solace and reflection amidst life's difficult challenges. Allen's close friend "SNOOP", remembers him as a man of deep compassion and generosity. Although he could be prickly at times, those who knew him best cherished his loving nature and often hilarious outlook on life.
