It is with heavy hearts and deep appreciation for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Allen Breaux, who departed this world peacefully on May 17, 2026, at the age of 86. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Allen's journey began on April 4, 1940, in the vibrant town of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Born to Clifton and Flo Belle Breaux, he carried forward their legacy of kindness, resilience, and community spirit.
Allen's life was a tapestry of devotion and determination. In the summer of 1975, he found his soulmate in Cindy Breaux, with whom he shared over five decades of love, laughter, and companionship. Their union was one of unwavering support and partnership, anchoring a family that would grow and thrive under their care.
A dedicated Marine, Allen served his country with honor and distinction. His sharpshooting skills were unparalleled, earning him top marks in his platoon's shooting class. The discipline and precision he mastered in the military were qualities he carried throughout his life, whether navigating the challenges of the day or finding solace in the tranquility of fishing — a pastime he cherished deeply.
Professionally, Allen found his calling behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler, where he took great pride in shifting through the gears of his dump truck. His work was more than just a job; it was a testament to his diligence and work ethic, traits that defined his character and inspired those around him.
Allen's legacy is lovingly carried on by his devoted wife, Cindy Breaux, and a family that includes Clifton Breaux, Monica Breaux, Thomas Breaux, and Leon Folsom, as well as Aaron Pope. He is also survived by a host of beloved grandchildren, eight in number, and six great-grandchildren, each a testament to the enduring impact of his love and guidance.
While his presence will be profoundly missed, Allen's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew him. In keeping with his wishes, a private ceremony will honor Allen's life, offering an intimate moment for family and close friends to reflect on the memories and legacy he leaves behind.
