Born on March 25, 1960, in Boonville, Indiana, Allan was a beacon of warmth, strength, and unwavering loyalty to all who knew him. Allan was the beloved son of Norma and Robert Miller, both of whom predeceased him. He was a devoted father to his son, Jason, and daughter, Leslie, and a cherished grandfather to his grandson, Sawyer, who brought immense joy to his life. Allan is survived by his siblings, Mary and Angie, who stood by him through all of life's ups and downs. A proud graduate of Boonville High School's Class of 1978, Allan went on to dedicate 34 years of his life to a distinguished career as an engineer. His work was not just a profession but a testament to his commitment to excellence and his remarkable problem-solving skills. His colleagues remember him as a man of great integrity and dedication, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure success for his team. Beyond his professional achievements, Allan was passionate about the great outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and joy in hunting and fishing and took great pride in tending to his property, which was his sanctuary. The peacefulness of nature was where Allan felt most connected to the world around him, and he often shared this love with his family and friends, creating lasting memories for all who joined him. Allan's personal qualities were as extraordinary as his accomplishments. Known for his loyalty, he was a man who would give anyone the shirt off his back. His selflessness and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. Allan's love for his children and grandson was boundless, and he dedicated his life to ensuring their happiness and well-being. A celebration of Allan's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the remarkable man he was.
