Today we mourn the passing of a beloved family member, Alicia Maria Martinez. Alicia Maria Martinez was born on February 7, 1954 in Edinburg Texas to parents Jose and Guadalupe Garcia, and grew up with siblings Jose Jr., Miguel, Rocio, and Ana. Alicia Martinez was a beloved wife, mother, mimi, sister, friend, and faithful servant of the Lord. Throughout her life, Alicia Martinez touched countless lives through her unwavering faith, generous spirit, and steadfast love. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. A service will be held on July 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Life Funeral Home, 2120 Lake Michigan DR NW, Grand Rapids MI 49504. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to American Heart Association. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Guadalupe Garcia, and brother, Jose Garcia Jr., Alicia Martinez is survived by her loving husband Armando Martinez, of 50 years, Armando Martinez Jr. daughter, Jessica Burelsmith and husband Bill Burelsmith Jr.; sons, Armando Martinez III, Jon Martinez She will be dearly missed
