Alicia left us peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by the love and comfort of her devoted daughters in her home. Born on January 31, 1939, in the picturesque city of Valparaiso, Chile, Alicia's life was a testament to love, laughter, and resilience. The cherished daughter of Augusto Pinochet and Maria Perez, Alicia grew up with a spirit as vibrant as the city that cradled her early years. In 1962, she wed the love of her life, Haroldo Ramirez, in a beautiful ceremony in Chile. Together, they embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and adventure, creating a family that would grow to include their beloved daughters Orietta, Rozanna, Beatriz, and Uberlinda, and stepdaughter Marcia. Alicia's life was a tapestry of joy and warmth, woven with threads of her quick wit and infectious smile. Her presence was a beacon of light, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, even those with a hint of sauciness that would bring a twinkle to her eye. She possessed a rare grace that made everyone feel welcome and cherished, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the fortune to know her. In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Alicia's remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, reflecting Alicia's compassionate nature and desire to help others. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Hudson Valley Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Alicia's final days.
