Alicia Anjae’ McGirt

November 5, 1995 — March 3, 2026

Alicia Anjae’ McGirt, a beloved daughter, sister, partner, and friend, was called home on March 3, 2026, at the tender age of 30. Born in the vibrant city of St. Louis, Missouri, on November 5, 1995, Alicia’s life was a testament to love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those she cherished. Alicia was the treasured daughter of James and Dianna McGirt, who nurtured her with love and pride, watching her grow into a remarkable young woman. She shared a special bond with her sisters, Alyssa and Alexus McGirt, who were not only her siblings but her lifelong confidantes. As an adored aunt, Alicia found immense joy in the laughter and smiles of her nephews, Kaden and Kylan, who brought light into her life. Her family circle extended to include her grandparents, James Sr. and June McGirt, Johnny Marbley, and Deborah Williams, and her great-grandmother, Patricia Young, whose stories and wisdom Alicia carried with her. Her godmother, Gayla Gibson, played a pivotal role in her life, providing guidance and love. Alicia’s heart was tender and expansive, embracing a host of loving family and friends who were drawn to her warmth and kindness. Her life was beautifully enriched by the companionship and love of her partner, Joshua Two Cats, and her cherished pets, Simba and Scar, who were her constant companions. Alicia’s educational journey began at North Tech High School, where she laid the foundation for her future aspirations. Driven by a profound desire to care for others, she pursued further studies at Chamberland Nursing School, embodying the spirit of a healer with her gentle touch and empathetic heart. Her dedication to the well-being of others found a professional home at Christian Northeast Hospital, where her colleagues and patients alike were touched by her generosity and compassion. Alicia’s life, though brief, was filled with moments of joy, laughter, and an abiding love for those around her. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her, a testament to the loving and joyful person she was. Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Alicia are invited to celebrate her life at a service on March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The service will be held at Reliable Funeral Home, located at 3958 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63108, where memories of Alicia will be shared, and her life will be honored with the dignity and love she so richly deserved. In this time of sorrow, let us find solace in the legacy of love and kindness that Alicia has left behind. Her life, though short, was a bright beacon of hope and love, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
