Alice P Brenard

Alice P. Brenard, born on February 5, 1936 left this world peacefully on September 25, 2026. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness. Alice spent her formative years in a close-knit community, where she developed a strong sense of faith and family values. Her career with the postal service, which spanned several decades until her retirement in 2002, was marked by dedication and an unwavering commitment to serving her community. Alice’s colleagues and friends remember her as a beacon of joy and reliability, always ready to lend a helping hand with a smile. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and as an active member of the Church of God in Rocky Mount, VA, Alice found profound joy and fulfillment. Her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did, and her church family was dear to her heart. Alice found solace in all her fur babies ,nature and had a passion for gardening, where she nurtured life with the same love and care she showed to her family and friends. The beach was another of her cherished retreats, where she often spent time reflecting on life’s simple pleasures. Alice’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by her children, Kevin, Kirk Kith Bernard, Kathy Woods, and Kim Lang, who were her pride and joy. Her spirit and love continue to guide her 13 grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to her life. In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Alice’s life. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Alice’s memory consider making a donation to a charity of their choice, as this would reflect her generous and giving spirit. As we say goodbye to Alice, we remember her as a woman of grace, warmth, and unwavering faith. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family and community will remain in our hearts forever.
