Alice Novella Keeton Fellers, a beloved matriarch and friend to many, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 10, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on June 30, 1933, in Temple, Texas, Alice was the cherished daughter of Theodore Vardiman and Myrtle Alice Bingham Keeton, who predeceased her. Alice's life was a testament to resilience and dedication. She married the love of her life, David Earl Fellers, on June 21, 1945, and together they built a life full of love and laughter, sharing 55 beautiful years until David's passing in 2000. Their union was blessed with a family that would become the center of Alice's world. Alice was predeceased by her parents, her husband David, her daughter Karen Sue Fellers, her son David Russel Fellers, her brothers Herman Darrel, Lucian Dean, Samuel Dwight, and Donald Ted Keeton, as well as her granddaughters Branda Lynn and Karrie Fay Fellers. Her legacy, however, continues to thrive through her surviving family: her sons Earl Wayne Fellers and wife Sherry, Raymond Troy and wife Sandra, daughter Mary Jo and husband Keith Fraley, along with seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Her career reflected her unwavering work ethic and nurturing spirit. Whether she was working on a turkey farm, at a sewing factory, serving as a waitress, or fulfilling her most cherished role as a homemaker, Alice's hands were never idle. She was known for her strength, love, kindness, loyalty, wit, and beauty, attributes that allowed her to move mountains for her family and anyone in need. Alice will be remembered for her boundless love and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her legacy is one of strength and compassion, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply loved. A service to celebrate Alice's life will be held on August 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home, located at 2525 N Main St. in Belton, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched so many. Alice's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.
