Born on April 22, 1946, in Dyersburg, TN, Alice lived a life full of love, warmth, and dedication to those around her. Alice was the beloved daughter of the late Bill VanDouser and Evelyn (Brasfield) Gaines. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Donald Richard Harber, and her dear sister, Pat Jackson. Her legacy of love and kindness endures in the hearts of her surviving family members: her son, Ricky Harber of Newbern, TN; her three cherished grandchildren, Dexston (Allison) Harber, Colton (Hannah) Harber, and Dakota Harber, all residing in Dyersburg, TN; and her precious great-grandson, Barrett Harber, who brought her immeasurable joy and happiness. Alice dedicated many years of her life working at Town and Country in Halls, where her hard work and commitment earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her professional life, Alice found true joy in the art of homemaking, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that was a haven for family and friends. Her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking, and the love she poured into each dish was felt by all who gathered at her table. A woman of many talents, Alice had a passion for crocheting, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and produce beautiful pieces cherished by her family.
