Alice Garza Jacinto

Alice Garza Jacinto, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, @ the age of 83. Alice was the beloved daughter of Joe Luna Garza and Esther Salmeron Garza, who instilled in her the values of compassion and strength. She was predeceased by her parents, her devoted husband Nemecio "Mencho" Jacinto, her sons Frank and Victor Jacinto, and her oldest grandson Derrick Vaughn. Although their passing brought great loss, the love and memories they shared remained forever in Alice's heart. On March 3, 1962, Alice married the love of her life, Mencho, with whom she shared 32 beautiful years of marriage before his passing. She never remarried, remaining faithful to his memory and to the love they shared for another 32 years.. and together they built a strong, loving family. She leaves behind her loving brother Robert Garza, sister Rebecca Garza, grandsons Alexander, Joshua, Christopher, Joel, and Matao, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She was further blessed with the joy of many great-grandchildren, including her great-grandson Jathan Jacinto. Alice lived in Milford and was a woman who cherished her family and the simple joys of life. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, and her one-of-a-kind personality. Alice always enjoyed having her hair done and took pride in looking beautiful and feeling her best. It was one of the little things that brought her happiness and made her smile. Her mornings were filled with nostalgia and delight as she watched old westerns, a genre she adored, while meticulously doing her makeup. Her family and friends will remember Alice for her unwavering devotion, her gentle spirit, and her ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to family. Alice will deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Her laughter, her presence, her strength, and all the little things that made her who she was will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. We take comfort in imagining Alice reunited with her beloved husband, Mencho, her sons Frank and Victor, and her grandson Derrick. May you be surrounded once again by the loved ones who went before you. You were deeply loved, you will be greatly missed, and you will never be forgotten.
