Alice Frazier

July 17, 1950 — October 5, 2026

Alice Frazier, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully transitioned from this life to the next on October 5, 2026, in the comforting surroundings of her home. Born on July 17, 1950, in Holly Springs, MS, Alice was a beacon of love and warmth throughout her 76 years. Alice was the cherished daughter of the late Elree and Pearlie Cochran. She was predeceased by her son, Jesse Frazier, her sisters, Edna Wells and Lillian Smith, and her brother, Johnny Cochran. Her legacy of love and kindness continues through her devoted husband of 52 years, Jessie Frazier, whom she met and married in Memphis, TN. Together, they raised a vibrant family filled with love and laughter. Alice was a proud graduate of W.T. Sims High School, class of 1968, in her hometown of Holly Springs. Her education was just the beginning of a life dedicated to nurturing both her family and the community around her. Alice had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome, never meeting a stranger she didn't embrace with open arms and a warm smile. Her life was a tapestry woven with the vibrant threads of gardening, fishing, and enjoying the serene beauty of her patio. Alice found joy in tending to her flowers and relishing the simple pleasures of the outdoors, reflecting her love for nature and life itself. She leaves behind a loving family to carry on her memory: her children, Vikki Moore, Arnetra James and her husband Michael, Lee Frazer and his wife Shawander, and Marcus Frazier and his wife Kaletta. Alice was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored deeply. Alice is also survived by her siblings: Pearlie Smith, Hannah Tunstall and her husband Curtis, Sarah Moore, Willie Etta Wortham, Inez Collier, and Joanner Edwards and her husband Arthur Johnson; her brothers, Elree Cochran Jr., David Cochran and his wife Carolyn, and Philander Cochran and his wife Karen. Along with them, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends will forever cherish her memory. A service to celebrate Alice's life will be held on October 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Hebron Chapel CME, located at 2827 Hernando Rd., Holly Springs, MS 38635. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a woman whose life was marked by grace, generosity, and an unwavering love for those around her. Alice Frazier lived a life full of love and compassion, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

Special Thanks

The family of Alice Frazier extends heartfelt gratitude for your prayers, support, and kindness during this time.
