Alice A. Albertoni

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Alice A. Albertoni, who departed this world peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, on March 8, 2026. Alice was born on June 16, 1926, in the picturesque town of Brusino Arsizio, Switzerland, to her loving parents, Felice and Gina Poli. Alice was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who touched the hearts of everyone she met with her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Toby Albertoni, with whom she shared 38 wonderful years of marriage. They wed on September 16, 1950, in Switzerland and together built a life filled with love and joy, raising three wonderful children: Anna Albertoni, Cathy Mills (Bob), and Joe Albertoni (Rhonda). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jason, Jordon (Amber), Jenna, Nancy, Heather (Megan), and Robert (Trish), and her great-grandchildren, River, Logan, Leland, Lennon, Irie, Sheldon, Alex, Boston, Ruth, Hadley, and Daniel (Star). Her family also celebrates the lives of her great-great-grandchildren, Timothy and Arya, who will grow up hearing stories of their remarkable great-great-grandmother. A dedicated homemaker and babysitter for over forty years, Alice found immense joy in nurturing and caring for others. Her kitchen was always filled with the warmth of her culinary creations, and she took great pleasure in gathering her family around the table, especially during the holidays. Her meals were not just food but a celebration of heritage and love, a tradition she passed down through generations. Alice was a stalwart member of Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church, where her faith shone brightly in every aspect of her life. Her commitment to her parish was evident in her participation in the Altar Society, the church choir, and the Young Ladies Institute. Her quiet dedication to cleaning the altar linens was a testament to her deep faith and her spirit of service. A funeral service to honor Alice’s beautiful life will be held on March 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church, located at 320 E Laurel Dr, Salinas, CA 93906. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Madonna del Sasso Catholic Church, ensuring that Alice’s legacy of faith and community continues to flourish. Though her presence will be dearly missed, Alice’s love and light will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Her life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family, and her memory will be cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
