Alfred departed this world gracefully at his beloved home, surrounded by the warmth and love of his devoted family. Born on January 19, 1942, in the close-knit community of Fort Kent, Maine, Alfred was the cherished son of Ludger and Mary Katherine Toussaint. He was a beacon of strength, love, and wisdom to all who knew him. Alfred was predeceased by his beloved wife, Feliciana Toussaint, with whom he shared a life rich in love and laughter. Their union was blessed with a large family that became the cornerstone of Alfred's life. He is survived by his children: Anna Marie, Shawn, Theresa Garrett, Louise Vigil, Martin, Catherine, Joseph, and Mary. His legacy extends further to his 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit and values. Throughout his life, Alfred was a man of integrity and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His dedication to his family was unparalleled, and his home was always open, serving as a gathering place filled with warmth and joy. Alfred's life was a testament to the power of love and community. He enjoyed sharing stories of his childhood in Fort Kent, where he learned the values of hard work and resilience. These values remained with him throughout his life, guiding his every action and decision.
