Alfonzo Green, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Born on November 21, 1993, in Ocala, Florida, Alfonzo was a beacon of warmth to all who knew him. His vibrant personality and infectious smile brought joy to everyone he encountered. Alfonzo was a proud graduate of Lake Weir High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and fostered a love for learning. Those who knew him will remember his passion for cutting hair, an art he mastered with skill and creativity. Alfonzo loved spending time with his family, often seen with his siblings and stepsisters, sharing laughter and stories. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding solace in fishing and hunting trips with his Uncle Trevor, as well as adventures that took him to new places. He is survived by a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted mother, Shakeetra Bracey; father, Alfonzo (Tanjala) Green Sr.; brothers, Devontea Bracey, Damontavious Green, Entevin Bracey, and Jatavius Green; sister, Mariah Green; stepsisters, Jer'Nyia Flowers, Je'Bria Lane, and Jer'Brecia Lane; and his beloved grandmother, Kathryn Bracey. Alfonzo also leaves behind numerous sorrowing relatives and friends who will continue to celebrate the light he brought into their lives. Alfonzo was predeceased by his grandfathers, Louis Bracey and Master Bracey, who surely welcomed him with open arms. A service to honor and celebrate Alfonzo's life will be held on August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the House of God, located at 2830 NW 27th Ave, Ocala, FL 34475. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Alfonzo are invited to gather and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in Alfonzo’s memory. Alfonzo Green will be remembered for the love he shared, the laughter he inspired, and the joy he brought to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a world that is better for having had him in it, and he will be dearly missed by all.
