Alfonso was the beloved son of the late Fidel Ortiz and Guadalupe Magana. He is predeceased by his father and sister, whose memories he cherished deeply. He is survived by his devoted girlfriend of ten years, Brenda Kent, who shared with him a decade of love and happiness. Alfonso was a loving father to his sons, Douglas Bryant Hendrickson Jr. and his fiance Amanda, and David Hendrickson. His legacy continues through his two cherished grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Alfonso is also remembered by his loving siblings, sisters Maria Elena and Maria, and brothers Enrique, Miguel, and Peppy Ortiz. Together, they formed a strong family bond that was the cornerstone of Alfonso's life. A dedicated painter by profession, Alfonso was known for his exceptional work ethic, never missing a day of work until his passing. His artistic talents brought color and joy not only to the spaces he worked on but also to the lives of those around him. Beyond his professional life, Alfonso's passions included playing pool and fishing, hobbies that brought him immense joy and relaxation. Perhaps his greatest joy, however, came from the time he spent with his grandchildren, whose laughter and playfulness he treasured. Alfonso was a man of immense generosity and compassion, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was known for his selflessness, often giving the shirt off his back to help others, even complete strangers. His kindness and love for his family were the hallmarks of his character, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. As we remember Alfonso, we hold close the special message from his family: "Alfonso was a man who was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed."
