Alesia Michelle Edwards Wallace April 18, 1969 – August 8, 2026 Winona, Mississippi With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Alesia Michelle Edwards Wallace, who departed this world surrounded by the love of her family in her cherished hometown of Winona, Mississippi. Born on April 18, 1969, to the late Edgar Campbell and Dora Collins Edwards, Alesia's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering faith. Alesia was a bright and determined young woman who graduated as part of the esteemed Class of 1987 from Winona High School. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Jackson State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business finance in 1990. Her career began in Atlanta, Georgia, as she embarked on a journey in the finance industry, a path she followed until her health no longer allowed, most recently with Modine. Her life was enriched by her membership in Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where she embodied the values of Sisterhood, Service, and Excellence. Alesia was also a dedicated member of Hazel Green Missionary Baptist Church, where she embraced her faith and served the community under the leadership of the late Rev. James Brown. Alesia's legacy lives on through her loving family, who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Tyrone Wallace; her daughter, Jaliyah Wallace; her son, Tyrone Wallace, Jr. of South Carolina; her sisters, Dr. Beverly Edwards of Raleigh, NC, and Patricia Blissett of Winona, MS; and two special nieces, Crystal (Jermaine) Valley of Winona, MS, and Brea (Carter) Jones of Waxhaw, NC. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family, including Erica Campbell, Felicia Campbell, Edgar Campbell, Cedric Campbell, Zebadiah Campbell, Lindsey Campbell Jr., Deonta Blissett, Anthony Brady, Chandler Booker, Curtis Blissett, and Macario (Amber) Sawyer, as well as countless friends, church members, sorority sisters, and coworkers whose lives she touched deeply. Alesia was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Campbell and Dora Collins Edwards, her sisters Doris Manuel and Wanda Edwards, her brothers Glendell Edwards and Lindsey Campbell Sr., her beloved sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn Edwards and Shirley Wallace, and her uncle Leroy "Saul" Collins. Alesia's life will be celebrated in a service on August 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hazel Green M.B. Church in Winona, MS, a place that was close to her heart and faith. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for all the love, support, and comfort extended during this time of loss. In lieu of flowers, they invite you to honor Alesia's memory by donating to a charity of your choice.
