In Loving Memory

ALENE CLARKE
October 14, 1940 — May 10, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alene Clarke, a beacon of love and warmth, who left this world on May 10, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on October 14, 1940, in Port of Spain, Trinidad, Alene was the cherished daughter of Samuel Williams and Algertha George. Her life was a testament to the power of compassion, faith, and the enduring strength of familial bonds.
Alene was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Goldbron Clarke, whose memory she held close to her heart until her final days. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, nurturing their family with unwavering devotion. Also preceding her in death were her son, Cliff Clarke, and her daughter, Elizabeth Clarke, whose memories she cherished deeply.
Alene leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving children: Richard Clarke, Robert Clarke, David Clarke, and Carla Clarke. She was the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren, and her heart was filled with joy as she welcomed the next generation, her great-grandchild. Her family was her world, and she was the guiding light that fostered a sense of unity and love among them.
Professionally, Alene dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her work at various hospitals was not just a career but a calling, as she poured her heart into providing comfort and care to those in need. Her patients and colleagues alike were touched by her genuine compassion and nurturing spirit.
A devout member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Alene's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found solace and strength in her church community, where she was known for her kindness and her commitment to helping others. Her faith guided her through life's challenges and inspired those around her.
Alene's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She found immense joy in collecting flowers, a hobby that mirrored her ability to see beauty in the simplest things. Her garden was a testament to her gentle spirit and her appreciation for the tranquility of nature.
Those who knew Alene will remember her as a loving, caring, and fun-loving soul. She was talkative and friendly, always ready with a warm smile and a welcoming embrace. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her family, touching the lives of everyone she met. Strong in faith and generous in spirit, Alene's life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of a kind heart.
A celebration of Alene's life will be held on May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, 1794 NW 38th Ave, Lauderhill, FL 33311. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose life was a blessing to all who knew her.
In remembering Alene Clarke, we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart that knew no bounds, and a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who were touched by her warmth and kindness. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love and gratitude.

God’s Garden
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.
