At the age of 20, Alec embarked on a distinguished career in the United States Army. Alec served with honor in numerous commands, including Fort Hood, Texas; Camp Humphreys, Korea; Fort Wainwright, Alaska; Fort Huachuca, Arizona; and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. His exemplary service earned him numerous accolades, including a Meritorious Service Medal, three Army Commendation Medals, six Army Achievement Medals, and seven Army Good Conduct Medals. He was also proudly awarded the prestigious Drill Sergeant Badge, a testament to his leadership and exceptional skill.
Beyond his military achievements, Alec was a cherished member of the Order of Saint Michael, an organization that celebrates the contributions and sacrifices of those in the Army. His commitment to his fellow soldiers was matched only by his love for his family.
Alec was preceded in death by his cherished brother, Samuel; his devoted mother, Julia; and his loving grandparents, Linda and Kolman. Their memories lived on in Alec’s heart, guiding him through life's challenges. He is survived by the loving spirit of his family, who mourn his passing and celebrate his life.
