In Loving Memory

ALBERT L LOGAN
January 16, 1948 — May 1, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Albert L. Logan, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world peacefully on May 1, 2026, after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born on February 15, 1948, in Washington, D.C., Albert's journey was one of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Albert was a man of immense character, blessed with a quick wit and a warm smile that could light up any room. He was a beacon of strength and resilience, attributes he carried throughout his life. His early years were spent in the vibrant community of Washington, D.C., where he attended Fairmount Heights High School, forming friendships and life lessons that would guide him through his years.
In 1967, Albert answered the call to serve his country, dedicating over a decade of his life in military service until 1978. His commitment to service did not end there, as he transitioned to a career with the Metro Transportation Authority, where he worked diligently for many years. His colleagues remember him as a dedicated and reliable worker, always ready with a kind word and a helping hand.
Albert was also a proud member of the Masons for 32 years, finding camaraderie and purpose alongside his fellow members. His life was rich with hobbies that brought him joy and peace, such as fishing, boating, and hunting. He treasured the moments spent with family, whether it was a lively gathering or a quiet evening watching TV together.
His greatest joy, however, was his family. Albert shared 45 beautiful years with his beloved wife, Renee Logan, a testament to a partnership built on love, respect, and shared dreams. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Trina, Robert, Angie, and Monique, who in turn blessed Albert with five cherished grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy, and he was a constant source of support and love for them.
Albert's family wishes to honor his memory privately, and a private ceremony will be held in accordance with their wishes. They are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and condolences during this difficult time and appreciate the respect for their privacy as they navigate this profound loss.
Albert L. Logan's life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and love. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
