Albert Joseph Lockmer, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, was peacefully sent to rest on the morning of June 22, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on May 7, 1953, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Albert, affectionately known as Al, was a beacon of kindness and strength in the lives of those who knew him. Al was the beloved son of Nancy and George Lockmer, who instilled in him the values of integrity, hard work, and compassion. These values guided him throughout his life, shaping him into the remarkable man we remember today. He shared a special bond with his twin brother, William Lockmer, with whom he created countless cherished memories. In 2009, Al married the love of his life, Felecia Lockmer, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to each other. Felecia, his soulmate and primary caregiver, stood by his side through every challenge and triumph, embodying the true essence of partnership and love. Al was a devoted father to his son, Matthew Joseph Lockmer, who was a source of immense pride and joy. Matthew carries forward his father's legacy of kindness and resilience, traits that Al exemplified throughout his life. Al was also blessed with the joy of being a grandfather to one cherished grandchild, who brought light and love into his life, just as he did for so many others. A man of profound wisdom and gentle humor, Al had a way of making everyone feel valued and heard. His warmth and compassion left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. Whether he was sharing stories from his childhood in Pittsburgh or offering sage advice, Al had an innate ability to connect with people and make them feel at home. Al's life will be celebrated in a service on June 27, 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and reflect on the impact he had on their lives. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire and guide those who knew him. As we bid farewell to Al, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared so generously. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and pride. Albert Joseph Lockmer will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
