Alasha Jayne Maureen Price

June 28, 2008 — April 18, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Alasha Jayne Maureen Price, who departed this world on April 18, 2026, at the tender age of 17. Alasha's journey began on June 28, 2008, when she was born in Huntington, Indiana, to her devoted parents, Emily Jayne Donaldson and Franki James Price. Alasha was a bright and spirited young soul who brought joy and color to all who knew her. She was known for her adventurous spirit, often expressed through her ever-changing hair colors and her fondness for the color pink. A true individual, Alasha had an eclectic taste in music that was as vibrant and varied as her personality. She had a knack for curating playlists that resonated deeply with her friends, who cherished her for her ability to translate emotions into melodies. Though her time with us was far too short, Alasha's impact was immeasurable. She was a cherished student who, despite not having the chance to graduate high school, left an indelible mark on her classmates and teachers with her kindness and creativity. Her playful spirit and love for Hello Kitty were emblematic of her youthful charm and zest for life. Alasha worked at Pizza King, where she was known for her dedication and cheerful demeanor. Her colleagues and customers alike appreciated her warm smile and the genuine care she extended to everyone who crossed her path. Her work ethic and compassion were beyond her years, and she was always eager to lend a helping hand. Outside of work and school, Alasha treasured the moments spent with her friends. Whether they were sharing laughter, exploring new places, or simply enjoying each other's company, Alasha's presence was a constant source of happiness and light. Her friends remember her for her unwavering loyalty and her ability to make every gathering special and memorable. Alasha leaves behind her loving parents, Emily and Franki, who nurtured and supported her throughout her life. She is predeceased by her dear brother, Ethan J. Price, and her beloved grandfather, Bill Groce, both of whom she held close in her heart. While Alasha's passing from a tragic heartbreak leaves a void that can never be filled, her memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who loved her. As we bid farewell to Alasha, we hold onto the memories of her radiant smile, her boundless spirit, and the love she shared so freely. She taught us the importance of embracing life’s vibrant colors and the power of music to connect hearts. Though she is no longer with us, Alasha's essence will forever remain in the stories we tell, the songs we play, and the pink hues that remind us of her joyous spirit. A celebration of Alasha's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful impact she had on each of our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Alasha's name, to continue her legacy of love and kindness. Rest in peace, dear Alasha. You will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
