Born on August 25, 1945, in Timmonsville, South Carolina, Al was the cherished son of Gloria and Pittman Benjamin. His journey through life was marked by kindness, warmth, and an unwavering ability to make friends wherever he traveled.
Al was a man of simple pleasures who found joy in the great outdoors. He spent countless hours fishing and hunting, embracing the tranquility and excitement that nature offered him. An adventurous soul, Al always reveled in the thrill of a road trip, discovering new places and creating cherished memories along the way.

Al's legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his devoted children, Erica Benjamin-Nobles of New Jersey and Al Benjamin Jr. of Georgia, who carry forward his spirit of kindness and adventure. Al was also the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride into his life.
