It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Aiola M. Hollis, who left this world on May 9, 2026. Aiola, a radiant soul with a smile brighter than the sun itself, passed away peacefully in the comforts of her home, after a courageous battle she fought with admirable strength and grace. Born on August 13, 1992, in Decatur, Georgia, Aiola was a beacon of light from her earliest days. She was the cherished daughter of Jackie and Mark Hollis, who instilled in her the values of love, resilience, and kindness. Aiola's spirit was one of unyielding positivity and warmth, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Aiola's educational journey was marked by excellence and determination. She graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Engineering, a testament to her intellectual prowess and commitment to pursuing her dreams. Her academic achievements laid a strong foundation for a career that was as promising as it was impactful. For six years, Aiola lent her talents as a Mechanical Engineer at Kia Motors. Her colleagues remember her not only for her technical expertise but also for her ability to inspire and uplift those around her. Aiola approached every challenge with creativity and an unwavering dedication to her work, leaving an indelible mark on the industry and in the hearts of her team. Outside of her professional life, Aiola found joy in the art of knitting, a hobby that allowed her to express her creativity and bring comfort to others. Her creations, much like her personality, were a testament to her love and care, each piece woven with thoughtfulness and affection. Aiola leaves behind her devoted parents, Jackie and Mark, and her beloved siblings, Kenyatta and Miracle Hollis, who will forever cherish her memory. Her family was her greatest joy, and their bond a source of strength throughout her life. A service to celebrate Aiola's extraordinary life will be held on May 20, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Dawn Memorial, located at 4685 Glenwood Rd. All who knew and loved Aiola are invited to attend and remember a life lived with beauty and purpose. The Hollis family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their support during this difficult time. Your presence and prayers are deeply appreciated and will be cherished forever in our hearts. Aiola's journey may have ended here on earth, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched. She will be remembered not only for what she accomplished, but for who she was—a loving, generous, and beautiful soul.
