In his personal life, Ahmad found immense joy and companionship with his wife, Brannie Reid. Their union was a testament to love's enduring power, and together they built a life filled with laughter, music, and shared dreams. Ahmad's world was further enriched by his adoring family, including his mother Sharon, and his siblings Mia, Leslie, Latisha, Lester Jr., Latoya, and Heather. 11 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews. The Hopkins/King family was a source of constant support and love, a circle that remained unbroken even in times of sorrow. Music, particularly hip hop, was Ahmad's soul's delight. Whether he was listening to his cherished CDs or spending time in the studio recording with his brother and nephew, music was his refuge and expression.
