Agnes was born on November 3, 1934, in Lincoln, Illinois, to Steve and Mary Tierney. She was a beacon of kindness and warmth, whose smile and gentle words touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Agnes was a dedicated and loving wife to Donald R. Hall, whom she married on April 4, 1959. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. Their union was a testament to enduring love, celebrating 50 years of marriage before Donald's passing in June 2013. Agnes was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Karen Kaup and her husband Scot, and Lori Cappellin and her husband Jon. She was also a beloved sister to Margaret and was predeceased by her sister, Mary Catherine. Agnes's nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren Lauren Cappellin, Blake Cappellin(Katie), Drew Kaup, who were blessed by her presence, and she leaves behind three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren Milani and Logan who will carry her legacy forward. Her professional life was marked by dedication and service, having worked for an impressive 40 years at the State of Illinois, Department of Agriculture. Her colleagues and friends fondly remember her for her unwavering commitment and the grace with which she carried out her duties. Agnes's life was a tapestry of compassion and love, woven with the threads of her gentle nature and her unwavering faith. She was a woman of quiet strength, always ready with a kind word and a bright smile that could light up any room. In honoring Agnes's memory, the family has expressed their gratitude to the staff at Cedarhurst for the exceptional care and support provided to Agnes during her stay in the memory care unit. Agnes's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
