Agnes Espinoza

August 2, 1962 — June 25, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Agnes Espinoza, who departed this world on June 25, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on August 2, 1962, in the Philippines, Agnes's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering kindness. She passed away peacefully after a courageous battle following a sudden stroke. Agnes was the beloved daughter of Alice and Romeo, and she was predeceased by her devoted husband, Frank, and her seven siblings—Gigi, Fredlyn, Rosario, Val, Cheryl, Joe, and Roger. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength through her surviving husband, Frank, who she married on September 15, 1986, in Chicago. Together, they shared a beautiful journey of 45 years, raising their two cherished daughters, Jackie and Meghan, in a home filled with laughter and affection. An intelligent and dedicated woman, Agnes completed her high school education in the Philippines before moving to the United States, where she earned degrees in Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Her passion for helping others was evident in her career, where she touched many lives with her gentle care and expertise. Agnes had a profound love for plants and found immense joy in gardening, nurturing her garden much like she nurtured her relationships—with patience, warmth, and devotion. Known for her generous spirit and compassion, Agnes was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. Agnes was a proud grandmother to four adoring grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Though she did not live to see great-grandchildren, her memory will be cherished by future generations. A service to celebrate Agnes's remarkable life will be held on July 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Schaff Funeral Services, located at 5920 W Lincoln Ave. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support and love during this difficult time. In honor of Agnes's life and her dedication to helping others, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Agnes's spirit of giving and compassion. Agnes Espinoza will be remembered as a beacon of love, resilience, and kindness. Her legacy will forever inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
