Adrian King, a cherished son, brother, husband, and friend, passed away on August 9, 2026, in a tragic car wreck. Born on April 6, 1990, in Charleston, West Virginia, Adrian touched the lives of all who knew him. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Adrian was the beloved son of William and Paula King. He grew up in a family filled with love and laughter, alongside his brother Chanselor and sister Micah. Adrian's vibrant spirit was shaped by the love and support of his family, a legacy he carried throughout his life. He was predeceased by his infant daughter, Rylee, and his grandmother, Sue King, whom he cherished deeply. Adrian was a bright student, graduating from Princeton High School in Princeton, WV, before continuing his education at West Virginia University. His educational journey was marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for learning that he carried into his career. Professionally, Adrian excelled as a supervisor at Lee Spring Company and played a pivotal role as an offensive coordinator at Princeton High School. He was not only a leader but also a mentor to many, inspiring those around him with his work ethic and dedication. Adrian's life was enriched by his marriage to Kayla Smith on January 6, 2022. Their union was one of deep love and mutual respect, and together they shared dreams and built a life full of joyous memories. Adrian had a zest for life that was evident in his numerous hobbies and interests. An avid fisherman, he never missed an opening day, finding peace and joy in the stillness of nature. Adrian was also a passionate fan of Kobe Bryant and Randy Moss, finding inspiration in their athletic prowess and spirit. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including savoring a good glass of cognac with friends and family. Those who knew Adrian remember his ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. His quick wit and warm smile had a way of brightening any room he entered, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Adrian's kindness and vibrant personality will live forever in the hearts of those who loved him. A service to honor Adrian's life will be held on August 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Church, located at 431 Aberville Rd, Princeton, WV. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the beautiful life Adrian lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Adrian's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to his heart. Adrian King leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness, and he will be remembered always by those fortunate enough to have known him.
