Adolfo was born on November 5, 1946, in Guatemala City, and his life was a testament to resilience, love, and the joy of simple pleasures. He passed away while undergoing surgery due to complications from kidney failure. Adolfo was predeceased by his beloved wife, Adela Cantor, who succumbed to cancer in July 2021. Their marriage of over 40 years was a beautiful union marked by love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a life rooted in family and community, welcoming four children into the world: Mingo (50), Maria (48), Adela (45), and Juana (40). Adolfo’s legacy is further carried on by his 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. A man of the earth, Adolfo ran his own farm, where he nurtured livestock with dedication and care. His days were spent in the open air, where he found contentment and purpose in the rhythm of the seasons. Known for his warm smile that could light up a room, Adolfo had an infectious optimism that touched everyone he met. His presence was a beacon of positivity and strength to his family and community. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Adolfo’s remarkable life on March 8, 2026, at Funerales El Rosario, located at 1 Avenida 3-29, Mazatenango 10001, Guatemala. The service, which will commence at 10:00 AM, will be a time to honor and remember the joy and love he brought into the world.
