Adele Eva Fraser, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and an unwavering spirit that touched all who knew her. Born on September 11, 1954, at Harlem Hospital in New York, Adele was the cherished daughter of the late Carlissa Dossett and Alonzo Fraser. Adele's early years in New York City were marked by her vivacious personality and infectious smile, qualities that would define her life and relationships. She attended and graduated from New York City public schools, where she cultivated a passion for learning and community involvement that would guide her career. Adele began her professional journey at ABC, but it was at the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce that she found her true calling as an administrative assistant. Here, Adele's keen organizational skills and generous heart made her an invaluable part of the team, contributing to countless initiatives that benefited the community she loved so dearly. In her personal life, Adele was fortunate to share over 30 years with her beloved husband, Terrence, who preceded her in death. Together, they nurtured a deep and abiding love that served as a foundation for their family life. Though they had no children of their own, Adele and Terrence embraced their role as devoted aunt and uncle to their numerous nieces and nephews, whom they cherished as their own. Adele was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Alonzo "Puggie", Bernice, and Lanice, as well as her sister-in-law Nadine. Her loss is profoundly felt by her surviving brothers, Reginald and Kevin, sister-in-law Sabrina, and a host of nieces and nephews: Charise, Chantal, Kyesha, Nyree, Adria, Adonica, Stacy, Ronnista, LaShea, Rene, and Kevin Jr. Her presence will also be dearly missed by her great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless family friends. Those who knew Adele will forever remember her as the life of the party, a woman who loved to dance and brought joy to every gathering with her infectious energy. Her home was a haven, where everyone felt welcomed by her warm smile and generous spirit.
