December 5, 1943 — July 27, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Adela Garza, who left this world peacefully on July 27, 2026, at the age of 82, after bravely battling dementia. Born on December 5, 1943, in the warm embrace of Texas, Adela's life was a beacon of love, laughter, and service. Adela dedicated 45 years to the medical service housekeeping profession, where her commitment to care and excellence touched countless lives. Her work was more than a job; it was an extension of her nurturing spirit and her unwavering dedication to supporting others. Family was the cornerstone of Adela's life. She was blessed with 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished dearly. Her home was always filled with laughter and love, as she spent countless hours with her family, sharing stories, meals, and creating memories that will be treasured forever. Adela had a zest for life that was contagious. She loved going out and enjoying the world around her, often accompanied by her loved ones. Her beautiful smile could light up a room, and her quick wit and humor made everyone feel welcomed and at ease in her presence. She had a special gift for making people laugh and feel comfortable, a testament to her outgoing nature and warm heart. In honor of Adela's life, a service will be held on August 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Flowers. We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating the remarkable life of a woman who gave so much to so many. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in memory of Adela Garza. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the beauty in everyday moments and the importance of family and community. Adela Garza will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her love remains a guiding light for her family and friends.
