In Loving Memory

Addilynn Marie MacKenzie
February 14, 2026 — March 16, 2026
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious Addilynn Marie MacKenzie, who graced this world on February 14, 2026, in Sudbury, Ontario. Her brief yet profoundly impactful journey ended peacefully in the loving embrace of her parents on March 16, 2026, at Sudbury Hospital.
Born to Kira Davidson and Ian MacKenzie, Addilynn was a beacon of joy and hope, a tiny spirit whose presence brought warmth and light to all who knew her. Her big brother, Weston, cherished every moment with his little sister, whose gentle smiles and delicate hands and feet left an indelible mark on our hearts. Though her time with us was short, the echoes of her sweet noises and the memory of her tender touch will forever remain with us.
Addilynn was preceded in death by her grandmother, Renee Davidson, and her great-grandmothers, Brenda Madill and Dona Davidson. She is survived by her loving parents, Kira and Ian, her brother Weston, and a devoted extended family who will always remember her as a symbol of love and resilience.
A celebration of Addilynn's life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at The MacKenzie Home, located at 4325 Chateau Crescent. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the brief but beautiful life of our beloved Addilynn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Addilynn's memory to the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation, an organization that supports many families like ours. Contributions can be made through their website at https://www.cpbf-fbpc.org/.
The MacKenzie and Davidson families extend their deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff at Mount Sinai in Toronto, SickKids in Toronto, and Health Sciences North Sudbury for their compassionate care and support during Addilynn's time with us.
Though Addilynn's time here was brief, her spirit has left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to meet her. In the quiet moments, her memory will continue to bring comfort and peace to our hearts. She will forever be our little Valentine, loved beyond measure and missed beyond words.
