In Loving Memory of Addilynn Marie MacKenzie
It is with the deepest sorrow and the utmost love that we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Addilynn Marie MacKenzie, who left this world on March 16, 2026, cradled tenderly in the arms of her devoted parents. Born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2026, in Sudbury, Ontario, Addilynn was a beacon of love and hope from the moment she arrived, her life a brief yet profound gift to all who knew her.
Addilynn graced our lives with her radiant smiles and tiny hands, which held onto the world with strength far beyond her years. Though her time with us was heartbreakingly short, her resilience in the face of both small and monumental challenges was nothing short of inspiring. She fought courageously until she could fight no more, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those privileged to meet her.
She is survived by her loving parents, Kira Davidson and Ian MacKenzie, who cherished every moment with their beloved daughter. Addilynn joins her grandmother, Renee Davidson, and her great-grandmothers, Brenda Madill and Renee Davidson, who predeceased her, in eternal rest. We take solace in knowing she is embraced by their love and warmth.
A celebration of Addilynn’s life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 1:00 PM at The MacKenzie’s residence, located at 4325 Chateau Crescent. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Addilynn are invited to come together to honor her spirit and remember the joy she brought into our world.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Addilynn’s memory to the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation. This organization supports families and babies facing similar challenges, and contributions can be made through their website at https://www.cpbf-fbpc.org/donate#anchors-lwh3sf5q.
The MacKenzie family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the hospitals and medical teams who cared for Addilynn with compassion and dedication during her stay. Your unwavering support and kindness will never be forgotten, and we thank you from the depths of our hearts.
Although Addilynn's time on this earth was brief, her impact was profound, and she will forever be remembered in our hearts as a symbol of strength, courage, and unconditional love. Rest peacefully, sweet Addilynn, in the knowledge that you are cherished always.
