February 14, 2026 — March 16, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of our cherished Addilynn Marie MacKenzie. Born on February 14, 2026, in Sudbury, Ontario, Addilynn graced the world with her presence for a brief yet profoundly impactful month. She peacefully left us on March 16, 2026, cradled gently in the arms of her devoted parents, Kira Davidson and Ian MacKenzie, at the tender age of one month. Though her time with us was short, Addilynn's legacy is one of pure love and joy. She brought immeasurable happiness to her family, including her adoring big brother, Weston. Addilynn's bright smile could light up any room, and her tiny fingers and toes were a testament to the beauty and innocence of new life. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will eternally be cherished. Addilynn loved nothing more than cuddling with her mom and dad, finding comfort in their arms alongside her beloved nuni. Her sweet, gentle nature and the cute noises she loved to make will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends. She joins her predeceased grandparents, Renee Davidson, Donna Davidson, Brenda Madill, and Harry Davidson, in a place of everlasting peace. A service to honor Addilynn's beautiful spirit will be held on July 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the MacKenzie Home, located at 4325 Chateau Crescent. All who wish to celebrate her life and offer support to the family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation, an organization close to their hearts. Contributions can be made online at https://www.cpbf-fbpc.org/, as they aim to support other families and honor Addilynn's legacy. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the NICU staff at SickKids Hospital in Toronto for their exceptional care and compassion during Addilynn's time with us. Their dedication and kindness will never be forgotten. As we say goodbye to our precious Addilynn, we hold onto the joy she brought us and the love she leaves behind. Her brief time on Earth was a blessing, and she will forever be remembered as a beloved daughter, sister, and granddaughter. Fly high, sweet Addilynn, until we meet again.
