Adam Mathew Barrett, a cherished soul with a passion for engines and adventure, passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 50. Born on October 19, 1976, in Nashua, New Hampshire, Adam lived a life full of love, laughter, and an unyielding zest for living. Adam was a dedicated father and a beloved friend, sharing his life with his son, Dyllan Barrett. Though his marriage to Rebecca Ann Middleton ended in 2018, Adam and Rebecca remained connected, ensuring the well-being and happiness of their son. His family was his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Adam’s early years were spent in Hudson, New Hampshire, where he graduated from Alvrine High School in the mid-1990s. From a young age, Adam had a knack for mechanics. He was captivated by the world of automotive engineering, often reminding others that "it's not a motor; it's a dang engine." His career was a testament to his love for fixing cars and his ability to master a variety of trades, including roofing and remodeling both homes and landscapes. A man of many talents, Adam was also a dedicated Christian and enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities. He was often found 4x4 wheeling, riding dirt bikes, and snowmobiling. Adam was known for his love of bonfires and his pride in building his 1987 Chevy Custom Deluxe. His pets, Rocky and Dazzie May, along with his pet duck, Mr. Duck, held a special place in his heart. Adam was predeceased by his father, Robert J Barrett, his mother, Roseanne Ann Barrett (née Boisvert), his brother, Brett Christopher Barrett, and his eldest son, Daemon Shamus Barrett. Despite these profound losses, Adam's spirit remained resilient and full of life. In memory of Adam, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice. The family also extends their heartfelt gratitude to all law enforcement officers, firefighters, and others who offered their support and efforts. They remind everyone of the importance of mental health awareness, urging those in need to reach out to services like 211 or 988. A private funeral service will be held to honor Adam’s life. Though he has left this world, Adam’s legacy of kindness, enthusiasm, and unwavering determination will forever inspire those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Adam Mathew Barrett welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
